I first studied jewelry at the Ar.co in Lisbon, and later jewellery and ceramics at the Rietveld Academy. Currently live and work in Amsterdam. In 2005 I created my own label BeLongings under which I create a wide range of work. Starting from organic and anatomic shapes and images (often associated with unappealing fields of anatomic research) I transform them into beautiful objects. Every piece is worked on with an individual look and that can be seen in the pieces themselves.
